My fridge was tripping out the power circuit. Ross was the fridge technician who called me back within 10min of my missed call. He was polite and said he could be out to see me within 2 hours. 20min later called to say he was 10 min away. Diagnosed the problem quickly with his equipment, faulty heater. Quoted to replace with a new heater. Price was good and fair and also included the call out fee. 1 hour to fix the issue, at the same time of replacing the heater, he took 3-4 phone calls to help other people with their fridge issues. Never missed a beat while fixing my fridge. Ross was very helpful and a wealth of knowledge with fridges. Highly recommend!

I never post reviews but I felt this one deserved one for other to read. I contacted Fabio via phone to discuss my issues with my fridge. Fabio gave me suggestions to do to try and troubleshoot my issues and let me know that he was just a phone call away at anytime. We worked through his suggestion but it was obviously something bigger. I called Fabio back and to arrange for him to come out and fix this issue. He came out the next day and sorted it out. Fabulous service thank you Fabio! So much experience, the likely issue was diagnosed on the phone and confirmed once arrived (Fisher & Paykel Active Smart over 8 years old = faulty main defrost element). I’d been told by the company service department I’d have to wait over a week for their technicians to come out. Fabio arrived within an hour of calling and the fridge was fixed not long after. Also did a general check over, and raised front legs so door auto shut (no more beeping!). Price point also very good - if agree to the fix, call out fee waived. Fixed for under $400.

Ross was able to come 45 minutes after I contacted him, and he turned up exactly when he said he would. He was also able to give me a rough estimate over the phone - obviously depending upon what had 'died.'He was able to identify the problem very quickly, (and as it was the relay not the thermostat, it also cost a fair bit less than the estimate!) Once the part was replaced, he waited 15 minutes to make sure the fridge was cooling properly, and that nothing else was causing problems, or might cause the new part to fail.Because Ross was able to get here when he did, we also didn't lose any food (we noticed the problem late the night before, and stuffed as many ice packs, etc., into the fridge as possible.) He was friendly, quick and thorough, and we cannot reccommend him highly enough.Parts are guaranteed for 12 months, labour for 3.

I had a problem with my fridge where it was not cooling. Fridge was on 15° and the freezer was on -7°. I tried everything I knew to fix it; cleaned the coils, turned it off for half an hour and back on. Nothing would fix it. I tried for 2 days. I had to move all my food out to the spare fridge. I called Melbourne Metro Refrigeration in hopes someone would come and look at it and be able to fix it, expecting it to cost $500. I was stressing. I got Sergio on the phone and he was so kind. He diagnosed and then gave me advice on the phone - told me to turn it off for 2 days, open the doors and put a fan in front of it to blow air through it. I did this and it worked! Now it is as good as new and so cold! I can say that this is old-school service that you don’t get anymore. He could have charged me to come and inspect it but instead he helped me fix it myself for free. I am so grateful. Thanks Sergio!
